Dr Wagstaff has been a practicing Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) – Head and Neck surgeon for over 25 years.  She has always worked in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne but is now entirely based in Kew.

She commenced her surgical training at the Alfred Hospital, gaining substantial experience in trauma and emergency surgery and at this point realized her passion was for ENT.  After completing the RACS training in ENT she furthered her career at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital in Cochlear implant Surgery and Hearing Research.

Following this she successfully secured a position in, Cambridge UK  in a more detailed aspect of ENT – Skull base and cancer surgery.

Upon return to Melbourne, she worked as a surgeon in the public system and became Director of ENT surgery at Eastern Health a position she held for 10 years, until 2015.

At this stage she took up the position of Medical Director at a Private Hospital and decided to further her education and undertook an MBA at the Melbourne Business School which has allowed her to take up differing board positions.

Although she now has a strong interest in Health economics and the sustainability of the health care system in Australia, her passion remains her clinical work and her patients.

She consults on all aspects of ENT.  Her new rooms in Cotham road Kew epitomize the relaxed approach she has with patients, whilst still providing high quality care.
